Hello Dimers,
I'm looking for a device (plug and play) similar to the Airtel Air fiber device. Please share the links if available in India(offline/Online)
Simply insert the sim and surf internet. This is for secondary connection in home.
Note: I dont want to go for Antenna setup with JIO and not interested in Airtel as well.

What about purchasing 2nd or 3rd or 4th hand 5G smart phone and using it as hotspot with unlimited 5G pack.

Use 4g jio dongle which works without battery directly plugged to socket. Mine still works since 2020.

How do you manage it during power cut?

If fixated on satellite internet, then having an antenna type thing is not a bad deal.. unless living in a high-rise and concerned about the safety of the antenna on the terrace or common area.
EVEN THEN, one can have it placed higher up and away from reach by children. Then the only issue is birds sometimes causing a bit of a mess.
Pricing ignored, both Amazon and Starlink came back up relatively fast when the hurricanes got less severe.
Most of not coastal areas in India do not even have that much typhoon disturbances, so the antenna based receivers DO remain connected most of the time.

just buy a "separate airtel postpaid sim" and put it in a 4g dongle:) (dont expect 5g speeds)
thats what i use for emergency purpose:) 4g speed is not bad in dongle
