January the 30th - Martyr's Day/ Happy Saraswati Puja (Ceremony of Goddess Saraswati)

On a day of today in 1948, Nathuram Godse shot Mahatma Gandhi. It was a tragic loss to the entire world.
I said was, because humans are mortal beings. Our heroes die, our villains die and we die anyway.
But there is a good thing among all these chaos. It is the memories associated with that person. It is passed to the next generation and keep them inspired.
I know Mr Gandhi is a controversial figure. It is okay. I mean, when we idolize someone we think that person is pure, doesn’t pee, doesn’t defecate, doesn’t have sex and follows strict guidelines written in the scripture. That’s so naive of us. I mean Churchill was a genocide maniac, once referred Indians fck like rabbits(during Bengal famines), Charlie Chaplin was a Nazi sympathizer, Henry Ford wanted to be best friends with Hitler, Mr Nehru is associated with corruption, Mr Subhash Chandra Bose was seeking help from a murderous genocide maniac Hitler and equally evil Japan Empire, etc etc. The list goes on.
We on other hand try to retrospect the past, the Indo Pak division and the killing of innocent that followed and we stupidly assume that it was all a just chess board, and had someone was in place of Mr Gandhi and Mr Nehru things would have changed a lot. In the same way Jews must be thinking that had that Jewish woman gave hungry and cold Hitler some blanket and food, they would have averted the Holocaust.
Let’s look at the present. We are, what we have at the moment. Let’s not ruin it. Nothing good is gonna come.
I pray to the Goddess of knowledge, Goddess Saraswati that may Indians be free of these nonsensical mindset and give the will to apply knowledge in their fields and allow them to flourish
