I have received a couple of IPOs from my brother's and sister's accounts and sold them after a few days. They are students and don't have any income source. Do I need to file ITR for them?

I believe you can skip, since income is less than 3L

What do you mean by no income...

If you have bank account , then you must have  money in saving account , thus credited interest which is ultimately is your income... It is immaterial to talk to about that it is taxable or not...

You have file ITR either it is taxable or not...if TDS paid in excess then it is refunded by income tax department...

You earned ₹1 or ₹1 crore .....both are income ....
