Nothing against samsung or one plus
I was using samsung phone and at the time of any vkyc it was not able to produce clear image of pan card. Agent always told me to try from non samsung device.
Now this time while doing vkyc with yes bank, The vkyc agent told that one plus device and samsung both are not supported and disconnected vkyc call.
I had to do it from my cook's redmi phone and it worked like champ. Smooth and easy. Lol
So if you have these phones or planing to buy, think again...

Also at the time of vkyc nothing can be adjusted in camera except trying to focus by moving phone close or far.

Exactly, I closed my one card because I thought their vkyc system is at fault.
I completed my vkyc with yes bank and the same problem arose and the person on the other side told me that samsung and one plus devices captures blurred images of PAN card but somehow he took blurred image only.
I hate samsung because I have to close my one card.

Isn't the vkyc is done in web browser via link provided by banks?
For that time period provide all necessary permission in browser like locstion mic cam etc.

it is to do with macro lens.....high end phones dont have that simple stupid 2 mp macro lens.....
he he....now people will know the importance of macro lens....its for successful VKYC.......to capture document clearly...
