Which card is that? Who is the email sender? If the email is real, save it as proof. Once you receive the card, ask customer support to verify LTF status of your CC. If they refuse to give it LTF, you can escalate with the nodal officer or the RBI Ombudsman. And take it easy, don't worry too much about the CIBIL hit.

They are offering LTF card these days, the exact variant will be shown after you enter your details on their website. And I'm sure that this isn't a pre-approved one but since you already have an account with them, they won't ask for much anyways.
