yes, 12400f 8-9k is good for most use.
It's DDR4. Motherboards are still costly. I don't think it's worth buying DDR4 today. But good price for 12400F. Prices for processors are insane since 13th gen.
@Simbha3 bought one thanks utilizzed 500 supercoins plus sbi card discount i dont think it go any lower than this or will it ?
Go with Ryzen 5600g + some economical AM4 mobo
yeah except nvme prices every components price is low now

H610 mobo (7k)

RX6600 gpu (20k)
1tb SN580 (6k)

How is this configuration for day to day office work (connecting to office system using Citrix), 4k multimedia playback, occasional coding using visual studio code and photo editing using Photoshop? I don't do gaming at all but want options open for a future upgrade.
I need a widescreen monitor for my office work so included that. I already have 6th gen core i7 laptop, so not looking for any laptop.
Please suggest any modifications if required.
Why not a 14100 instead? The price is almost the same. And yes, this will be fine for such things. If Photoshop is too slow, then you can buy a dedicated GPU later depending on your use case.
Check price history on whatever components you want to buy and then decide which sale has lowest price.
