I doubt so, since the whole point of an FD based/ secured credit card is to provide credit services to someone with no credit history. So a credit check would be unnecessary, though the process might vary from bank to bank. Try reaching out to OneCard support if you need confirmation.

It hits in a good way. My wife did not had any Cibil score and when I tried applying for cc from IDFC, Axis, Indusind, they were rejected.
Then I applied for FD based one card with limit of just 10K, used it for few months, and then the CIBIL score was properly built.

Yes because it makes cibil .
