Is Jio tv available on plan validity expired jio sim?

On jio tv app you have to login using jio number with otp. Since plan validity expired jio sim will receive incoming sms, you can do that. But will you be able to watch it this way on other telecom net/wifi?
I'm currently able to watch this way using my other sim internet which is also jio. Are they allowing this because the network used is jio anyway? Would it be possible if say this was over BSNL sim internet? Anyone have experience?
When does jio tv access expire? As long as jio number is not deactivated even if plans have expired?

I mostly use wifi to watch jiotv and it works quite fine...
