Amazon shopping edition makes sense if you are frequently purchasing from amazon and most importantly do not need prime video subscription. You get early access in sales, plus sometimes some coupons are visible to you which are applicable on products under 500, without prime either you have to pay delivery charges to avail the offer or have to add unnecessary products. So in my opinion it is okay specially if you are using Amazon prime vouchers to get further discount on ASE subscription.

For grocery orders flipkart vip is the best, on majority of the times. For me amazon is too expensive even with the coupons. But sometimes vegetables are cheap on amazon fresh with coupons for me.

Look, if you want to buy Amazon prime 12 months edition just for Prime video, go for it. Otherwise, Amazon prime is not ideal for people living in tier 2 or 3 cities where delivery time for most household products (especially sold by rk world infocom) is between 5-7 days which is also the case for non prime members. Next day delivery is very rare for such regular use products. If you are looking for early deals during sale then the shopping edition is the best. So, if prime video is not your concern, then the shopping edition is the best.

Don't buy Amazon Prime Shopping Edition; it makes your deliveries slower. After purchasing this service, my deliveries became delayed, and they even held my package for 1-2 days after it arrived at the local warehouse. I subscribed for fast delivery, but I experienced the opposite. Avoid subscribing! my package was arrived at my location on 17th at 12pm but delivered after 2 days on 19th.
