Is it a good idea to setup autopay for credit card bill payment?

I wanted to know if setting up autopay for credit card bills is a good idea to avoid that monthly hassle.
Have you guys ever tried setting up autopay?
Let me know if you have any knowledge and experience about the same.

IMO, not really

That's for my use case where the spending account I have has limited money for the monthly budget. So I can't risk the chance of there being less balance, payment failure with additional charges etc

It's better to have a habit of making sure that it's manually paid on time & credited.

Might work for some who have multiple cards but still, the rare chance of autopay failing or something like that exists.
