I have cards from multiple other banks(HDFC, ICICI, IDFC, AU, AXIS) however the reward rates are pathetic since all are LTF.
Please suggest if this card is worth the hassle?

If your monthly spends ( on groceries, food delivery apps and offline dining) are around 10k per month then this is the best card to have.
Even for offline normal spends also, it gives unlimited 1.5% cashback.
didnt HSBC have internal criteria as the following
1) for salaried only? so not for self employed
(OR)
2) having saving account with them to have their cards?
if not one of the above 2 cases the card wont be issued for you
