Sale or no sale, minimum order value for 5% cashback is very low for most of such co-branded cards, other cards have mov like 5000 or more. During sales no co-branded card provides better discount. Kotak Myntra, Flipkart axis or amazon icici all of them are for regular and frequent shoppers.
Is Amazon ICICI card really useful.

I dont understand if Amazon will not value its own card then who will.
This card anyways dont have much uae case in offline market.
See here on example. Samsung s6 lite with HDFC card its for 18999 and with ICICI card its for 19950.
This was the case in all deals on prime day.
Why would anyone opt for ICICI card in such cases.

This is a LTF free card and provides 1% cb for offline payments which is better than many paid cards
What's your problem?
Do you want it devalued?
It's one of the best LTF cards out there !

Also, it doesn't take anything while replying in nice way.
Now coming to my point :
The only concern I have is : this card dont give as much as benifit as others while buying larg value products. Refer to my post which screen shots.
I think this card is still relevant. Something is better than nothing 5% CB on shopping and 2% CB on utility bill is a really good deal.
5% without any cap
I have HDFC millenia also if I am not crossing 20k threshold then millennia is best for me.
If you are having any -SBI cashback or millenia or axis cashback, you may not need Amazon ICICI
SBI cashback card seems to be the best one to opt for currently
If your online spends az,fk and some online groceries are within 20k then HDFC millenia
If above 20k-1Lac then SBI cashback card
If you are buying heavily from az or fk take az icici or fk axis
Depends on what large is for you. Card offers during sales usually also have an upper cap, around 1000-1500 per card. 10% reaching that limit means you buy anything over 15k, and you're not getting any additional discount.
If you're getting something worth 30k, you get that same discount on the Amazon pay card, plus some other small additional discount that they have running.
In any case, the Amazon Pay card is not for sales at all. It is to make you a regular customer of Amazon, as you wouldn't but things ONLY exclusively during sales. Getting 5% cashback all year round is probably better for the converted regular Amazon users that waiting for a sale every one or two months. No minimum order value, just buy only what you need, and get a simple 5% cashback.
As I understand it, it totally depends upon your utilization.
For me, in my personal use case, this card is less profitable than other cards.
For utilities and bill payment I use Airtel axis card, which gives me more cashback (using airtel black plan for mobile and wifi)
I dont use AZ, FK for regular purchases, I use them only for mobile and large appliances. 2 to 3 times a year. In this scenario I find this card less useful than other.
Agin, this is very much personal now. Most people find it very useful, few like me find this less useful compare to other 😊
Also, my original query was : why AZ gives less cashback compare to other cards sometime. Example given above. AZ should give max benifit to card holder than to others.
Sorry... i guess, u still didn't get answer to ur question. Everyone is giving their pov instead. Anyhow, Their Card - Their Rules... What can we do...
😹i get like 4k for offline via amazon cc and much more online ,if u used card u will surely get cashback
ALL LTF card are usefull someday , take them blindly
GUIDE TO CREDIT CARD IN INDIA
step 1 : take all LTF card as much as possible
step 2 : wait for offer
step 3: use them
this is all u got to fallow , sticking to one card will make u cry foul when offer come for other card, so best approach is to take them all . if logic agrees take further all waiver based card full filling waiver condition , and then even the paid card which outweight their fees in benefit like sbi cashback
this is the algorithm u got to fallow , thank me later
Yesterday left a half-filled Amazon Pay Card application, today morning got a call from ICICI CC they said i can apply for this Credit Card with just PAN and Aadhaar no income proof needed should i apply ? vkyc will be done original PAN and sign will be captured
Can I ask them to provide me Platinum Chip Credit Card instead (which i think gives instant discount during sales )

I've been in numerous scenarios in the last 1 year where I chose Amazon ICICI or Flipkart Axis for the 5% cashback since the others offering 10% had a lower capping. So minimum order value and cashback capping..these two restrictions are still there and they are getting tighter by time.
Also, people using the card for commercial purpose, trying to earn unfair cashback, or even money rotation have more chances of getting their card blocked. If you're doing okay, the worst case scenario would be that the bank might ask you for the invoice for your purchase which shouldn't be problem. The banks are offering cards with lakhs of credit limit, earning MDR on each transaction etc. Then why would they block yours unless you're the one at fault? The more you spend, the more they earn. Simple.
Also in my experience, Amazon ICICI is the one with least complicated terms and conditions. If they say they'll credit the cashback for a particular purchase, they will. There will be no exceptions. I still prefer it for the usual 1% even when I have 5 other cards which offer the same since I know that they'll deliver. Even when a few of those cards are paid and I have to aim for the annual fee waiver, I would still prefer the LTF Amazon ICICI for situations where I'm in doubt whether a particular purchase will earn me the cashback.
