I would ❤️ to own my first apple device and my saving are enough to buy a new phone.
my friend has offered to bring me iphone from Dubai iphone 15pro max 256 gb for 96 k, current price on Amazon is 1.45 lkhs on india.
will it be worth the money given I won't be able to claim warranty for a premium purchase?
I am medium segment android person

Don't get me wrong, but apple on current scenario doesn’t worth your money. If you are going to spend 96k, then buy S24 ultra which is available on 98k on offline market in India. One of my friend purchased S24 ultra this weekend just, and its actually feels different! But again its your money, that's just my personal view, nothing to demote you. Also, in few days iphone 16 will be released. And shifting from android to apple is a hard task as you have to compromise a lot of things which we taken for granted in android. One thing I can say is that if you are buying an expensive phone, then go for offline, you will find huge discount. Warrant claim is an important issue, in case something went wrong you’ll be in borehole. Please don't take my comment otherwise.
S24 ultra 98k where? I could not find such deal offline
Can you share the details on which store he will be getting it from? Is it Middle East version or international one?
he said global version at local mall in Dubai
If its your first apple device you need to know lot of tips and quirks to affectively use it. ( knowing that you are medium android user so far, a mere 15% perfirmace wont matter to you with 15pro) I suggest to buy 14pro max and save rest.
I am sure you enjoy the savings as well as your first apple device.
Check with your frnd , whats the price for 14 pro max there. Should be cheapest
My honest opinion is to wait out for this year if you have a decent phone... With apple pushing AI this year's phone should have better AI capability on chip
1plus nord, and it is dying day by day.
You already up📈 there.
Apple Inc. officially words its warranty policy like a grey area. So it is not like there is ZERO chance of warranty support in India, for devices bought in other markets
'Technically' the support facilities in market "XYZ" can choose to refuse support for devices bought from 'ABC'.. or anywhere outside "XYZ". But that does not really happen in India at-least.
Basically only you can make this decision, irrespective of what we/others say.
It is your money, your willingness, your excitement and also your aspirations.. so if they later make you feel contended about it, why not.
Else, a hundred thousand INR can do a lot of things elsewhere too.
iphone buyers sochta nehi, direct le leta he,
Recently moved to iphone 15 from OnePlus 7, iphone is a pathetic phone and software is very very bad, optimised, to ease of access.
Porting from Android was even more pathetic, think of porting back to android (I think they won't even bother supporting it).
Many features are not available, inbuilt calculator doesn't even show history, think of other features based on this.
In android if I press hold any icon it directs to settings here there is no concept as such.
Multi app usage like rotating between apps is very hard. In android during OTP page I used to navigate between apps, now i have to improve memory to remember the code🤣.
Keyboard is next level pathetic, auto corrects to very incorrect words.
Many many issues if you are an android lover.
Still using OnePlus parallelly and posted this msg from OnePlus.
Plus additional vouchers
exactly same price in Mumbai airport as above with axis card 15%. just now noticed , extra 300 off by scanning qr.
