higher the return, higher the risk... be very clear about this while investing in discount invoicing. Go for the reputed companies trade, even though they are offering lower returns, like 10-11%

10-11% is not low these days 😂

I usually invest in deals listed from Amazon, Flipkart, tata etc

Looks like scam with limited stuff and limited understanding that I could gather. 1. No guarantee of the buyer will pay the money 2. Seller need to provide invoice to buyer (Input GST credits, legally he is providing the service/Goods 3. Legally buyer will pay money to seller not some 3rd party (accounting /Books has to be clear...invoice raised by part A payment has to be given to party A) 4 digital world .seller can create N copies of Invoice..and can take money from multiple people and will vanish in month or 2..who does all this check) Stay away from all this scams with hard earn money.

I don’t know anything about discount invoice.

But what i learnt from financial books that If any asset class is giving more than double return than usual, u should look it as suspicious & if anyone ‘Guarantees’ more than 20% return than it must be fraud…

Also I assume that when someone is giving you 14% means they are not getting loan at such high rate too ? Why ?

As said, I might be 100% wrong as I don’t know anything about discount invoice.

The main issue is India’s informal economic system used by a majority of MSMEs, the main users/target of invoice discounting. Read the below article for some clarification about why this system is risky.

Amazon/Tata is liable to pay to the party who has provided them service/products.
not some 3rd party who has copy of invoice.

considering the risk & return, stock market looks safer and better than invoice discounting.

Also the ticket size is very high for such high risk investment.

if the vendor sells goods to co. and raise money via invoice disconting platform and later at the time of payment if those goods were found to be defective or bluechip company wants to give part payment for those goods and not full than who will bear loss?

Better invest in niftybees and goldbees in systematic way and you will beat the inflation quite easily in long run and it is less risky and more importantly it is regulated.
