Calculate your risk profile and choose wisely
If this was so easy, why wouldn't the bank just invest this money themselves? Why would they bother giving you the loan?

1) good decision if you can cater the "interest + PRINCIPLE" yourself from your own income AND DONT DEPEND ON MARKET INCOME
2) bad decision if you are intending to buy now and sell THE SAME mutual fund to pocket it AS PROFIT (in thinking it will be in profits now itself) -> THIS IS NOW HOW IT WORKS
MF ARE SUBJECT TO MARKET RISK PLEASE DONT TAKE RISKY DECISION LIKE THIS LOL
use own money OR BORROWED MONEY ONLY IF YOU CAN REPAY IT USING YOUR OWN MONEY AND CATER THE INTEREST PAYMENT YOURSELF FROM YOUR INCOME
dont ever think on selling MF FROM BORROWED MONEY and pocketing the profits THAT WILL NOT WORK
To OP -> if the idea you pasted on your post WORKS 100% then EVEN BEGGAR WILL BE MULTIMILLIONARE LOL
Is this a good idea?
No. This is not good because investment through debt is a bad approach. If returns are negative then you will be under severe pressure.

Is this a risky idea?
Yes. This approach may give you high returns if markets continue to go new highs but not worth sleepless nights.
