Any information will help !!!
All Credit Cards categorise merchants basis Visa MCC codes.
Few cards even show which category a particular merchant belong to. Few cards have accelerated rewards for certain category.
Like Indusind Platinum Aura (@rpal) have different plans for different categories.
ICICI Rubyx (@disclaimer) & Axis My Choice cards have categories to choose for accelerated rewards
.
I had tried to gather this information long back but could never get a wholesome list
Now relying upon previous experience & spends
See if this list can help you!

Thanks for the info bro !!! I did traverse the guide and was able to collect few merchants with specified MCC Codes…
MCC Details-Airtel Money: 4814 – Telecom service with local, distance, credit calls
Bro, How did you figure out 4814 belongs to airtel money … was it only due to the fact that its a telecom service provider or did u find the same from some manual/info on the web/booklet etc ?
ICICI Rubyx has stopped preferred category accelerated rewards, now you get 2x rewards only on international spends.
Check SBI Prime welcome booklet to get some category codes.

Out of my different cards, IndusInd Platinum Aura and Citibank Cashback card mentions merchant category. But even they mention category and not the actual code. The others do not mention it. So I go by experience. However, even there, Paytm and Mobikwik had been reflected under different categories in different transactions.
Ok!!
Any specific Merchants where CB Rate is Nil (based on past experience)…
On Aura, they have given Nil CB rate for Oxygen Wallet…though not sure why exactly!!
Following is the offer for Citi Rewards credit card
Earn 10 Reward Points for every Rs125 spent at apparel and department stores.Continue earning Reward Points at rate of 1 point for every Rs125 on all other purchases
My question is how much reward points u get for using card in Dmart and BigBazaar? Does both come under Department category? @panchabhut
Depends
Bigbazaar certain POS are registered under different category like food bazaar billing area
Dmart mostly gets as departmental store
On the payment confirmation receipt you get, does it have the MCC code
How do you find the MCC code of a certain store even after billing, I understand before billing would be very difficult.
True. TMW is a robust and (mostly) a free option for a prepaid kyc wallet/vcc.
They even give points 0.5%/1% net if we spend after adding through through CC/DC!!
It is considered as good as a credit card by most sites, except few like Paytm which have started declining add money through prepaid cards!!
Thanks for it. Really appreciated.
