The evacuation from Mazar-e-Sharif, the bustling city in the north which is situated close to the border with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, comes after Indian diplomats and staff left the Kandahar consulate last month.

They are leaving because of all the brave soldiers they lost. American and other NATO citizens are disillusioned with the so called War on Terror. Bush went to search for WMD’s in Iraq and the result you have is country on the verge of collapse and overrun by extremist groups. Same in Afghanistan, where they were losing soldiers daily by IEDs while Bin Laden was in Pakistan.
The War on Terror no longer bring votes. OTOH American and other NATO citizens want their soldier back home.

Stupid leadership at US pulling allied forces. They should have destroyed the Taliban from the face of earth. Other countries (Rich Islamic ones included) should have helped them. Now we ll observe mass rapes of non muslims, public executions, stoning. I really don’t know what exactly is their problem.

Islamic extremist terrorism is no joke. It’s really sad to see the allied forces are ditching Afghanistan. All the sacrifices made by brave soldiers has gone to waste.
