IIT BOMBAY PLACEMENT lowest at 4LPA

Fortunately or unfortunately, reservation doesn't apply in private jobs so people get packages according to their caliber. Isn't average pkg 21 something?

You can't get far without competence.

This clearly shows one thing, which is low jobs in the market with high demand of jobs, so they can lower salary even more.. This is just start of the worst:) xD still even more worst to be seen:)

so already employed? -> DONT EVER LOSE YOUR CURRENT JOB its hard to get job out there

as work/job growth is less and people growth are more AND GOVT JUST SAYS DO ENTREPENEURSHIP  AND WE WILL JUST GIVE YOU LOAN Looooool and Govt says "we will only manage WE WONT START COMPANIES FOR THE COUNTRY LOOL and WE WILL SELL THE EXISTING COMPANIES RUN BY GOVT i.e PSU's" (fate fate fate.. this is how it will be)

1) Govt will run job for people welfare and manage loss with tax money with the hope of improving it in future to make it profitable

2) Private will run for dead salvage rate the more competition arises

so in a country where only private is growing and govt is selling THIS IS BOUND TO HAPPEN

so this is the fate

I have seen many fools who graduated from the premier institutes including IIT and IIM who are good for nothing. They brag about their alumni status and keep switching jobs.

Mostly it works for them. 😉 Not all are the same, but there are a few. We can't do anything about it.

There are some departments in IITs, NITs which have low starting salary, for example, Architecture and City Planning. But the students from Architecture, eventually open their own firms and work with big construction companies and earn a lot of money. So, 4 lacs is a low salary but it is more like a real-world apprenticeship for Architecture students. BTW IIT Bombay does not have an architecture department, so this particular scenario does not apply there.

... I also wanted to add that quite to contrary to what people think ,, IITs are overtrated and not that much valued globally , .. so even a tech course fro canada /australia xyz college .. or some low theme course at reputed european university(education is all free in europe ) will be valued so much over these IITs , this will be evident even in higher course for Mtech/MBA PHD at foreign university

-its bcoz of outdated curriculum , fuddu professor at IIT, . But indians are intrested only in placement and money greed
