Pretty late for investing.. Focus on IPO's till elections season

Start investing when you see nifty around 18k. Go all in around 14-15k if mkt give opportunities (could take upto mid 2025) till then sip could be safer way if he wants mkt exposure

If your friend is new to investing, stocks are not the answer. Mutual funds are the way to go. Ask him to split the money into 4 or 5 or 10, then invest in a mutual fund every month. Then tell him to continue with a sip after the sum is exhausted.

I understand why you or your friend might be interested to go all in on stocks. It's the oversized returns isn't it? The losses when it happens will be unbearable for a first time investor, who got into investing in dreams of huge returns. He will run out of the market faster than he got in. Once you are comfortable investing in mutual funds, you can study up about stocks and get into it as well.

If it were me, with 10k

Id put 5k in a nifty 50 fund

5k in a flexi fund

Or 1000 a month in each fund for 5 months. But this will not make much of a difference if investing for long term.

Bhai. Unhe ye realisation honi chahiye ki profit n loss is part of gain. Ache shares me ache bhav pr paise lagane pe acha rahta hai.

I generally focus on good companies consolidating for a long time due to various reasons like ASM/GSM list, high valuation etc.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd is one of them, buy in parts on down and wait for the run....

I generally go for a long term, baki to "hoi hai wahi to Ram rachi rakha..."

Yesterday, switched some non-performing stocks with better stocks like AAVAS with BMW.

AAVAS - (0.49%)

BMW - +4.74%

Yesterday, volume was low. Today, volume was even lower than yesterday. So, there might be more downside on Friday.

Last Dec. I suggested someone to buy Saksoft at around 118, also guided to sold at around 380. It is down to 323 as of now.

I suggest ISGEC & Natcopharma, And if you buy, need to DM you when to sell. @Rosh_0007

Natcopharma jumped more than 16% yesterday. This was only single day jump, around 30% up since I told you.
Isgec already reached the target, in January only.
