On which date sbi bank put annual fee charges for debit card usually??

some banks mostly private bank charge annual fees in advance so,if you close card before renewal date u can skip charges but in government bank not idea about sbi they charge at the end of year in that case you have to pay charges.
If closing card close it atleast 1 month ago because everybody know working speed of SBI?😂

SBI is pathetic.
I had closed my debit card on 19th September. They deducted AMC charges on 21st September though my card AMC renewal month is June.

Since your question has a 'can' in it and it pertains SBI
with the Harry Potterisk special powers that SBI has, they 'can' (and have) charged even non-customers for services never even availed.
Thus charging customers in an invalid way is nothing new.
Even the likes of Citibank India.. at one point.. was in the nasty habit of adding the non average balance maintenance charges BEFORE 31st and a customer even took them to the dry-cleaners for doing so.
