I opened IDFC 10k variant in March 2024 after I received 0 AMB offer. Customer care confirmed it is 0 AMB via email. But bank manager said there is no 0 AMB account so I abandoned the account without completing KYC as I don't want to leave 10k in one more savings account. I use to get threats from support team that my CIBIL will get affected if I don't complete KYC 😂🤣 for savings account. They don't know what they are talking. When I open the app to change the credit card control settings. I use to see count down in 11 months x days the savings account gets closed now they removed that count down and it forces me to do KYC. Why can't they simple close the account. Even if I open the account now it will incur charges and shows in negative. Has anyone else got the 0 AMB offer before?

How much amount have you kept since March ? If its less than 10k and you haven't got charged then its zero bal.

I did not transfer any amount it is 0 since March. Branch Asst Manager and Manager are dumb even after sharing the offer screenshot they said they need to check later kept wasting time saying did not receive any confirmation at the end they confirmed few people got this offer but its not allowed. He will close my account once I complete KYC. I got angry by his dumb comments. Simply abandoned KYC as he will create problem later. Asst Manager said on call since I did not complete KYC so there is no charge for non maintenance of AMB his dumb logic. If I don't complete KYC account closes after 1 yr but manager wants me to complete KYC and then he will close it. He don't want to wait for 1 yr. I felt they are opening dummy accounts for some fraud.
