But I have kept the reimbursement account as ICICI.
Now the organisation credits 700 - 1000 each month.
From the May month the salary was not credited only the reimbursement amount is getting credited via the employer.
Even now I checked with customer care and they say that my account is a salary account!
How long will this be ? Or even the minimum 700 is considered as salary ?

I left HCL in 2012 and my salary account was ICICI, that ICICI account is still active with same benefits, was never charged for non maintenance. So, answer to your question based on my experience is, your account will "never" be downgraded. Enjoy!
My last salary credit in my icici salary account was on ict 2019.
Account is still a salary account. No transactions in the account. I just keep 1-2k in the account rarely do any transactions in it.
Per my knowledge, once Zero balance account opened in ICICI, its always remain the same but they charge high amount for Debit card fees one in a year. In my case they charge around 800 annual fees for Visa Debit Card
