Have you reached out to customer care on this, I did the same once with amex, accidentally paying my bill for membership rewards cards to travel card, however amex customer care was understanding & they reverted back all charges and adjusted the dues on reaching out to them.
Reached customer care and asked 3 times but they are not doing anything ☹️☹️
Interest charged from date of transaction not from statement date. Charges for approx. 2 months
Do u have shared limit?
There are two parts
1. Interest payment
2. Wrong payment to different card
Call customer care tell them this mistake and it’s first time. They refund the additional payment to otiginal source of payment. Also tell them to waive off penalty and interest and wanted to make full payment. They will ask you to call back after refund and payment to right card. Still it will show interest amount even after payment. Don’t worry. After payment reflects call them again and 95% cases they waive off.
Once point 2 is sorted out you can sit back recalculate your interest looking at your statement which illustrates how interest is calculated.
Called to customer care and told the story they reverted back money to my actual card buy they are not waive off my transaction charges asked 3 times they said our system is not allowing
