ICICI Chargeback for Amazon purchase

During Prime Day, a friend bought a Zotac Gaming PC and received a unit without main components (GPU and CPU).
On informing amazon about this, they asked for three days time for investigation.
On follow-up, Amazon customer support senior said they have done the investigation and they cannot provide any help as they believe they sent the right item.
Customer support over call not entertaining unboxing video and after insisting they asked to send video proof to [email protected] and their reply also came as we can't do anything
Please suggest how to navigate through this mess as the seller is Appario Retail Private Ltd and the bank is ICICI

People have been warned that this particular Zotac barebone PC is not worth ordering as you can build a better PC just by adding few thousand more. Also the reviews here and on Amazon show that many units are having their GPU removed.
Those people had no idea that this is a mini-pc (~1/4th the size of regular pc build?). Even weight wise it isn't heavy, can easily carry it in your college backpack. Would've been great deal (if delivered)... and only two (out of 14) reviews on amazon.in suggested that CPU /+ GPU were missing (and one came from a non-verified purchaser) while all every review about the renewed unit had them missing

There's no point in sending unboxing videos. Like i said multiple times in the deal thread, reason for return should be "Renewed/Refurbished item with Seal Broken + LPN serial reference" (Product shouldn't have been unboxed in the first place & your friend is in a messed up spot because the reason for return is "Missing parts"). This proof is enough to convince the bank for chargeback (even if Amazon doesn't care)

They will close the case stating you rec the item or will say you have given OTP we can do nothing . Yeah thats how dumb these guys are
Mail a copy of the video to that ex ganja ceo , if your friend is lucky it will be sorted then and there

I haven't read all the posts above ^^ so sorry if someone already told you this.....
But you should point to amazon on the weight factor. It is very solid proof that you got scammed. They must help & refund or replace the item for you.
-> The item's proper weight is known to amazon, & the manufacturer. They have a record, plus it is also mentioned on the box/manufacturer's website most of the time. (in your case 4kg 900g for Magnus One /// and if we check the weight of GPU then it comes around 1 kg 30 g ....)
-> When shipping the item's weight is recorded. It is also printed on labels most of the time.
-> If the item's weight is less when shipped then it is clear proof. Ask amazon to look into this.
That's a good point. Gpu nearly weighs 1kg+. So the total weight must be less by 1kg. Raise complain based on this factor.

wrong product was received, made unboxing video, amazon denied their problem, bank(hsbc) denied charge back.
contacted the seller directly and they refunded the money.
so i would suggest you to explore this option by contacting seller thru amazon chat or try contacting at sellet address provided in the bill.

this is classic case of delivery person taking out stuff. it is very very common,these delivery people order high value items from fake accounts then take out stuff and then cancel order.i was telling @getready paji how a news and video came out that these people open every package of every customer in the morning take out stuff that they need and deliver the rest or sometimes deliver empty packets.they have the tapes to seal it off again. now in ur case contact icici for a chargeback.they might tell you that product is delivered so no chargeback.keep them calling again until u get connected to a good agent. can you copy paste reply from them if u dont mind?

I understand these Ecom sites are getting scammed by some scamsters but that's because there's no decent enough mechanism to ensure a safe delivery is done. But these local warehouses and local delivery teams are the real culprits in the cases like these where the genuine customer is getting taken for a ride. The upper management simply cannot get anything done anymore, as simple as that. They are yet to pick up the wrong kitchen appliance they delivered, not once but twice even for a replacement. Filed a chargeback and a complaint on consumer grievances against both seller and Amazon for which they refunded my money. The product is still with me and I honestly have no idea if they will ever get it picked. My problem is, that, I suspect it creates a problem for me in the future if I have to return any other product again ever.
