I just received few messages that I initiated UPI registration on UPI app and it is not done by me

As per your request, the process to link your Bank account on the UPI App has been initiated.


I'm a bit worried because the mail Subject says Registration successful for the UPI App. but it usually does OTP verification before successful UPI Registration Right?

I also got same message from a Axis bank on 25th July. I think it could be because of some upgrade by Paytm as few days back got an SMS from  Paytm stating 'UPI upgrade scheduled post 23rd July."

I got msg from my bank that upi linked at paytm that too at arnd 3 am yesterday

Guys, i found it....It's because paytm is changing all upi handles from @paytm to @ pthdfc and so on.....
