Which exact model of the Ryzen 5 you’re getting? If its 2nd gen (3500 series) then not a very good deal but if its 3rd Gen (4500 series) then you might consider it. Also you need to consider other things as well apart from these raw processing Specs :

1. What kind of display are you getting (Dont settle for any resolution below Full HD at this price range, Is it IPS/TN, what is the color gamut?)
2. What is the battery backup promised (Try to get something with 7-8 hours of promised backup, that would ideally last atleast 3-4 hours in real life usage condition)
3. Is the keyboard comfortable to use and backlit? Since you are buying from a shop you can physically check these things, would suggest to go with a backlit keyboard
4. How is the build quality, does the laptop feel weak and flimsy to hold, do the hinges feel good and strong while opening/closing?
5. Does it come with USB Type C Power Delivery Port, this is the port of the future, gradually all laptops would be completely moving to USB type C for their charging. So you’ll need to have a single charger for your Phone, Laptop and maybe some other devices.
6. What kind of ports are available, try to have atleast 3 USB 3.0/3.1 ports, HDMI, VGA (Optional, since this is getting rapidly outdated), Gigabit Ethernet
7. Does it support Wifi 6 (802.11AX) this is the latest Wifi Technology just hitting the market. Although routers supporting Wifi 6 are extremely costly at the moment but this should be the standard 1-2 years down the line.

These are some of the things that come to the top of my mind that would really improve the usability of your laptop and make it future proof for atleast the next 4-5 years. Raw processing power is important, but the above points would make your daily use of the laptop easy and seamless.
