Try contacting HP from another communication mode like email, social media handles etc and ask again and try to get confirmation regarding this from some senior executive.
If they say the same then visit nearby service center and ask them to give it in writing and then write back to Amazon for resolution.
created a support ticket again /email them. Let’s see what they say .

Wait for a response from HP first and get confirmation regarding warranty from their end first.
Then contact Amazon. Call cc and ask them to transfer the call to senior executive or ask them to arrange a call back from their senior executive.
It would be hard to get some kind of resolution from Amazon’s end as it was a third party seller I am guessing and return period must be over too. Plus your laptop is expensive too they can’t also just issue refund neither can they provide warranty as it’s manufacturer’s job. The best you can expect is they coordinate with HP regarding this and get your case “sorted” so HP agrees to provide warranty ( hard to say if it would happen )
Also try visiting your local service center and ask then about warranty status and extended warranty ( don’t mention anything else ). Just bring your invoice and see if you get the same response. If they try to deny service ask them to give it in writing.
Just to add to this conversation, even if you didn’t had this warranty issue, it’s not a good idea to buy expensive items from third party sellers.
Stick to first party reputed sellers on Amazon/Flipkart.
Yes same suggestion. Why buy item worth 1 lac from unknown? Else u should have bought from ur local stores. (I know it must be a good product with extra discount on online)
first of all it was a “Amazon Fulfilled” , having “PRIME” and “Amazon Choice Tag” . seller was “Ebuy365” . if it had not these tags then I would have never bought it .
Buying from Amazon was better choice for me than flipkart , since flipkart do not give GST invoice , but Amazon seller gave GST invoice . so I would get 18% ITC.
secondly reason for not buying it from Offline store is for getting 10x Reward point from HDFC Diners Black . (~ 25k /- worth of RP )
In total buying it from Amazon may have saved me around 40-45k than buying from HP online/offline store or Flipkart’s Retailnet .
Yes I know I have some issue regarding warranty which will most probably sorted in few days but I do not think I made any mistake ordering this high value item from Amazon. considering the benefits I may get.
Thats huge discount. I wonder how u get gst amount. Do we have to pay that(which we receive as gst claim) in filling IT for next year?

Not yet . A lady from HP called me on 2 days back and assured me that if amazon will not take any step then HP may honour warranty as I purchased their product and they do not want to give much hassle to me because I am using their all other products and its not just a one time deal and they have great brand reputation. I told her that my issue is still pending with amazon offcials and they are asking for warranty rejection proofs . She said lets wait for amazon’s reply then HP will take the matter. So I am wating for reply from both the parties ,as thay have asked me 5 working days . I have given them 5 working days without any disturance from my side . So wait few days I will update the topic . Follow the topic if you need update . HP s point is that the seller (amazon fullfilled) where the amazon procured the item is not a HP authorised reseller . So they can accept the product for warranty .

Generally products like HDD have 3months plus 12 months warranty (total 15 months) from the date of shipping….. Maybe in laptop it’s 14 months from the date of shipping
Why Amazon CC are so so dumb . after days of and after so many tries I am still unable to make them get the issue correctly. look what they replied. after 5 days of waiting their final reply

dear amazon ..why do not you get it that after following the above guide , Hp is asking for invoice and denied warranty after seeing the seller name on invoice. this simple thing the amazon people are not understanding. idiots
Here HP is silent now after that last call . she was supposed to call me after 3-4 days to know the status of case of amazon. now no call and no option to reach them .
looks like only option left is file a case in consumer court .
Yes.If you go to hp service center they deny warranty for online purchased items .This is all over India.
You won’t going to get any help from hp you better talk with Amazon they may pickup your laptop and repair for you.
I don’t know why you are having such issues with HP. I used hp warranty for 5 consecutive years. (bought 2 yesrs carepack after completion of 3 year extended warranty).
I changed my display 3 times. Including when i cracked my display when it was under 1st year ADP.
My laptop came with 720p display, hp upgraded it to 1080p touch screen.
changed keyboard,top cover, bottom cover,harddrive ( again hp gave me 2 tb instead of 1 tb), wifi card, touchpad.. after 5 years. :p They also service my laptop everfy 3 months. i call them and say my laptop is heating. they send engineer to clean and service my laptop. :p excellent service .
really ? could you guide me how and what channel you followed to buy extended warranty and carepack ? because HP support is first asking me give serial number than purchase date and refused after they saw warranty start date .

Update: case solved . HP accepted the warranty and updated the warranty dates as per my invoice date . Before they were not updating the dates but yeatserday they took my invoice and updated the warranty dates , so case solved .

Actually trying to buy a extened HP warranty now with Accidental coverage . The HP official customer care peoples has some setting with some particular HP partners . They are pushing their number to me . These partners selling HP warranty at price as per their wish . Any1 here who is HP partner or selling HP warranties ? Actually going to buy 3 year accidental coverage . Some quoting 29k some quoting 26k . Some even quoting 20k for same carepack .
