Kind of off topic, but only regret in this series is not seeing Kane, really like that guy. 

everything has to come to an end eventually, or else it doesn't complete the full circle 😃 like that India's remarkable winning streak in home Test series lasted 4331 days and the second in the list is by SA who had it for not even half of India's record - 1,733 days so kudos to the team. 

For me, the most disappointing was to lose the Pak ICC streak in Champions Trophy final in 2017 and then in T20 but as said records are to be broken however wish Root doesn't break Sachin's record 😀as for sure no one will come too close to it in the future as players are more into T20, especially franchise cricket than even National

Only compensation for this loss is to survive the Aus series somehow and make it to the finals and win it else it would be three finals in a row and three losses in a row 😌

Chokli is a curse for team India in tests.

We lost cheteshwar pujara and rahane for no reasons .

India performance against spin is so bad that we are below Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in that list .

It's high time that we must Remove Rohit, kohli from team.

I think they could have won the game today itself and kept series alive if they would have continued the attacking momentum like Jaiswal. After his fall, all went defensive. It was not 5th day that you are trying to draw the match by playing defensive. Pant would have surely attacked but unfortunately he was run out. 

Indian team heavily depends on Ashwin and jadeja. Batsmen got exposed easily when they had very average series. Washington sundar , sarfraz and jaiswal are the only good intake from this series.

Rohit can't play new ball now, so he should play at 5. And remove kohli from team, we don't want to see him getting out and seeing his reaction like he got out on ball of the century.

The last time India lost a test series at home, in 2011-12,was preceded by 4-0 whitewashes abroad against Eng and Aus. Could happen in reverse order this time. The fast bowling cupboard looks bare again what with injuries, loss of form etc. Kuldeep Yadav's omission due to injury seems a case of gross mismanagement. 

Kohli's time seems to be up. His peak years are behind him and he doesn't seem to be able to handle well any kind of lateral movement be it swing/seam or spin anymore. I was flabbergasted when fans rated him way above Pant and even a little higher than Jaiswal in terms of who will be the most important batter in the chase. If he hadn't run out Pant who knows what could have happened. But it seems unlikely that he will be dropped until the Eng tour concludes. 

Rohit's returns have been inconsistent of late but he alongwith Jaiswal and Pant has been the best batter since the last few years. Plus being the skipper he will be allowed to continue for at least another year or two. 

The last time lefthanders averaged higher against Ashwin was in the aforesaid series loss against England when he was pretty green. Too early to judge and the woeful performance of the batters meant that the tweakers didn't have many runs to play with but still the spin twins lack of effectiveness was concerning. It was well known that the Kiwis will look to sweep and reverse a lot but there didn't seem any plan to counter it. 

Infusion of youth is the need of the hour.
