ICICI clearly told me that they have stopped issuing Ruppay Platinum Debit card.
SBI is asking to keep QAB > 50,000 to issue Ruppay Debit card.
Any other alternatives? Please suggest.

ICICI will also told you this is only RuPay debit card, only 10k limit, e-com is not supported, RuPay card only apply through branch, RuPay card is discontinued etc, all are wrong information. Just ignore everything and force them to apply for RuPay debit card.
Tell them my friends are already got ICICI RuPay debit card from customer care today.
Note - If you have ICICI Mine saving account then RuPay debit card maybe not eligible on this account.

IDBI bank gives Rupay platinum with charges (150 for issuance and 300 annual charges).
If you upgrade to IDBI power plus with MAB of 50k , Rupay platinum is free

I just applied for the ICICI Bank Rupay Debit Card via Customer Care, The Lady took the request in 5 min, with no arguments.
Told me that the charges for this card will be 150 + GST, but mine is a salary account, so I am sure they are not gonna charge me anything. 😄

If your electricity bill amount is Rs1200 then add Rs700 Amazon gv and pay rest of the money (Rs500) through RuPay Platinum DC and get flat Rs100 off.
If your already have Rs1200 or more Amazon gv in your amazon account then you can't combined Amazon gv + RuPay Platinum DC payment.

Just ask Your Personal Relationship Manager of ICICI Bank account for Rupay Platinum Card. She Will apply on your behalf. Also if you don't have Personal RM, Please keep balance in your ICICI Bank saving account.
