Slowly try to move to green tea. Initially it's bitter and slowly kills the urge to drink sugary teas, eventually you will develop taste .to it.

Sugar, Milk(fat), Caffeine is a deadly combination.
Multiple doses of tea is one of the causes of India becoming a diabetic hub..

1 ghanta daily exercise karo.
Will power.
And after giving up sugar for a year and so, you will find a strong distaste towards sugar, your taste buds will be modified.
Have given up sugar for the last 10 days (after lab test results showed super high levels of sugar / FBS, PPS, HBA1C, Urine..). Will continue for a month and repeat blood sugar level tests again to see if there is any improvement.
Overall, sleep has improved, not feeling like munching all the time (unlike before). Still drinking coffee with milk (no sugar), but want to give it up as well.
Lets see.
Ghatiya , feeki chai banao , aisi ki peete hi thukna pade
How's stevia sugar-free?
I don't know how someone can resist tea prepared with only milk without adding water with balanced sugar and mild tea masala.
Thats exactly the addiction part.
Give up the sugar part first, that's the deadliest out of 3.
Keep tea/coffee limit to 2 per day that too after breakfast in morning.
Don't break your fast with tea/coffee.
Sugar addiction can be reduced gradually, Personally I've reduced by the following
- If you take 2 spoons of sugar in tea, reduce by 1.5 spoon and continue for a month and reduce by half a spoon monthly. Also use milk as a creamer instead of 80% tea as milk. I make tea with 80% water and 20% toned milk.
- Avoid buying 2L soft drinks, instead buy canned drinks, that way you won't be tempted to go for a second glass of fizz. Later shift to Coke Zero/ Pepsi Black
- Keep mithai strictly for festivals, instead celebrate small occasions with bite size chocolate preferably those with higher dark cocoa content.
Satisfy the sweet tooth with fruit slices, dates, raisins, peanut/channa with hint of jaggery etc.
Jab Tea ki loot aati hai to, to addiction wali theory side ho jaati h.
I moved to stevia liquid drops for tea/coffee after losing 52 kg (122 -> 70 kg) and getting rid of my carbs and sugar addiction. I still eat anything and everything in moderation without unhealthy dieting or extremely gymming, do gym regularly but have been able to maintain at 75 kg while eating sugar in other foods and low carb, high protein. For drinks, I avoid sugar and replaced with stevia (will just a few weeks to get used to the taste)
You can gradually reduce the amount of sugar intake.
Also try to use jaggery as it's more healthy option.
Jaggery, mishri, desi khand will be useful. Buy from your native place a stock for 1 year or 6 months.
Tip: put them in tea after tea is prepared, because sometimes due to sulphur in them the chai gets clotted. i.e. like milk curdling ( dudh phataa hai waisa kuch)
