How to get my paid SWIGGY HDFC CC converted into LTF??

hlo veterans....hdfc these days hv started providing SWIGGY HDFC CC as LFT but I am already holding the card for more than one year and is a paid card....a few weeks ago I sent mail to the concerned authority for conversion of my card into LFT but they denied it citing it's policy...what can be done now??
is it possible if I get my paid card closed and then again apply for the card afresh?? will I get the card as LFT??

How much time did it take for the procedure to complete as I have also applied the card on 29 October but while checking application status it is visible as card in process till today that is 4th November @Joker_Phodger @BILLA007

Tell them at the time of applying it was showing as ltf and attach ss of ltf card

Better go with the truth because I read somewhere HDFC blocked the card of those who got LTF using this.
