Is there a way or website to know the MCC of the merchant. I called the merchant but they were unsure about it. I need to know the MCC before making a payment.

I am not asking for MCC list. I want to know under which MCC they fall under. E.g Zeiss optics have three MCC category 8042, 8043, 8044. I need to know which one is applicable to Zeiss as they do optician, optometrist work and sell eye glasses as well.
Do a txn ....then cancel order....get refund...

Use onecard. They instantly display the category of spend. That is the easiest way to find category.
Very big concern bro.
I also want trick every time need to do transaction then wait for settlement then call cc or live support.
