How to close Airtel payments saving bank account

Recently a few days ago I successfully closed the account. You need to send an email to wecare@airtelbank dot com requesting them to close your account. They will ask for self attested Aadhar as attachment. They will call also for the closing, be available to take calls.

Any specific reason for closing?

Empty account and don't use for more than 1 year

Although I do want to confirm if the bank is actually closed or not. Is there any way to check all bank accounts associated with my mobile number / Aadhaar / PAN, any such portal available?

Dont close, instead create 2 wheeler fastag linked with ur bank account. Very useful for credit cards tricks.

Once Closed, u will never be able to create an account again
