I received the account closure letter today from them. Although they took a much longer time than expected, it all happened promptly when I called them up at their number 080-68075001. I should have called them at the number much earlier. My bad.

Guys after i close the amazon paylater when will it refelect in my cibil report , cap float customer service told it will take 45 days really?

Amazon can’t help. In fact, amazon is keep misleading customers and trapping them. i’ve already talked to them. Useless customer care service. Finally, I sent a mail to capital float.

hi pl call 080-68075001 to request closure of capital float account. Its quick and easy. Some one had mentioned here already .. it was very useful.

Okay, anyone coming on this thread to get information on closure of Amazon Pay Later Account, please do the following (as suggested by a couple of other Dimers as well):

• Call 080-68075001 (Capital Float)
• Ask them to cancel the Capital Float A//C linked to your Amazon Pay Later
• Verify your full name and credit limit allocated
• The CC rep will ask for reason for closure (you may provide any like: non-usage or CIBIL score impact, etc.) 
• Post noting the reason, the CC rep will instantly process closure of account (assuming no pending balance) and send you a ticket ID on your registered email address
• The A/C will become inactive within 3-4 days on Amazon Pay Later; and CIBIL entry will take ~45 days to go away

...and that's it. One quick 3-4 min call is all that's required. No need for any emails or chat/call with Amazon CC.
