How to apply RuPay Platinum Debit Card?

How can I apply for RuPay Platinum Debit Card in my HDFC Bank Savings Account, as well as in my ICICI Bank savings account?
• HDFC A/c Variant: DigiSave Youth
• ICICI A/c Variant: Mine
Application Method: Online or via email or Call.

for icici, call customer care and ask.
they might say they are not issuing rupay, you say your friend recently got it . If they still repeat same. Cut and call again .
in my case I had to call twice , first guy was just saying rupay is not issued now, second guy just accepted request instantly. 
IDFC is faster and cheaper too
i dont know about HDFC or ICICI
Which variant should I open?
ICICI customer care repeatedly denied issuing rupay debit card for "mine" savings account. Initially, I assumed that the particular customer service representative who I am getting doesn't know about Rupay debit card issuing process, however, after speaking to 20+ customer service representative to issue me a rupay debit card and on their refusal asking to just issue me the SRN, it turned out no one will issue a rupay debit card on "mine" account variant.
Do let me know if your experience differs with ICICI Mine account.
Same experience dear. I also tried contacting them 3-4 times but everytime they just refused.
In icici you can just call customer care and tell them to issue you a rupay platinum card. Don't know if hdfc has any rupay platinum debit card, even though i have their savings account, i didn't try that.
