You can't apply for any credit card without CIBIL hit bro unless it's already pre-approved. You can apply for cards once in 6 months for a better approval rate but have heard that banks like Axis don't care about recent enquiries but always follow the 6 months rule. Timely payment is the ultimate factor for CIBIL. No need to worry about hard enquiries much. Foreign Banks like HSBC, STANC don't like too many enquiries. If a card is LTF then there's no harm taking it but Always prioritise your needs before taking any card.

I'm 23 years old. In January 2024, I applied for an Amazon ICICI card and got rejected. In February, I received a pre-approved card from Axis as my second credit card. Other than that, I haven't applied for any cards or loans. Am I being too cautious? Should I apply more often?
Now, I'm curious: how often should I apply without getting my CIBIL hit?
Please share all your experiences and knowledge, you credit card geeks.
