Dont go for intraday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.  your profit for the day will go crazy ,in a moment it will turn red . i have loosed a big amount. but one thing for sure profit or loss, you will become a BP patient . if you do trade be it a delivery based trade (shorting not possible  though)

Yes on every demat account I see that pop up. SEBI made it mandatory. 9 out of 10 lose money. Even if you make profit you end up paying transaction fee is what it mentions.

I traded intraday once for a month but after getting a hang of it in early days of my market career, left it completely... Also, tax forms and implications change, so permanently left...

intraday trading is the only truth & is considered a profession due the ability to trade both good & bad times. on top of that without leverage and daily % returns u cannot come out of poverty or at least this rule applies to those who dont have money from selling parent's land etc

i had a friend who is an investor but arrogant showing 34% absolute returns but unware of XIRR & identfies herself as trader even though its MF. nowadays the trading word is misused a lot

But india being in bull phase any yera gera nathu khera is buying & making money giving them the illusion + false confirmation of skill/knowledge but in reality its just luck of bull phase timing. ( still kudos to them )

Sadly when bull phase ends & it will end like it ended for other nations then there will be massive transfer of wealth whereby novice retail investors will be wiped out & trading mania/hype will end for next generation.

after that only true traders will survive
