The problem is that we don't actually love our country (irrespective of Ambanis). Britishers atleast build constructions like buildings, roads, bridges which are still intact. And whatever we build (please recall Atal setu crack which went viral in recent times) is not sustainable. Ambani/Adanis are just byproduct of these, they know how to handle politicians and how to make money (even unethically). You will hardly find businessmen like Ambanis in the USA, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand etc who get rid of tax and all. Even Mark Zuckerberg had to face the court and consequences and had to apologise. Do you imagine Ambani or any top tier businessman in these situations in India?

Internet is backend of the country. Even when internet was not there ppl where addicted to Prn cds etc.  15 years ago i could even download a pdf needed for my college notes. 

Look for positive side of this. Millions of poor people got online education during COVID and still millions of poor getting online education because of affordability. In 250 per month students are getting educated of thousands of rupees. 

It's upto people how they use the resources.

First of all Ambanis are not giving smartphones to minors, old, or jobless people. They are service provider and providing data for a charge and they don't dictate what to watch or not. YouTube, twitter, insta or fb all have algorithms to track individuals' interests and show personalised recommendations. Consuming garbage through screens is not new, it is everywhere. Propaganda, woke culture, third class comedy events with fake laughs these "educated" people like to watch but thats okay because it is mostly available in English, Anything other than that is a content for "uneducated". While i agree with you that people are wasting their precious time on screens, blaming ambani for it is absurd. It is definitely a matter of concern to make internet safe for minors but in case of adults i would say let people choose what they want to consume on internet. They are paying from their pocket, its none of our business.

See, world is evolving, if you don't move with others, you will left behind. There are lots of things with cheap internet we are getting, you might unable to post here if we don't have this much cheap internet, I doubt whether DD community exists. So, everything has 2 sides, positive and negative, we have to choose. Same as we choose our friends, goood or bad. Everything is upto us.

Parents should keep control / limiting use of mobile, also there is lots of tracking system present.

During Covid lockdown days, the so called cheap 'mobile data' helped us operate from the safety of our home. Some learned cooking while some started posting their day to day activities on youtube. Some were able to spend time with their parents via video call.

wait what, aircel was charging 300+ for 6gb data?? i was getting 9GB data in 250 in around 2014-15 was it maxis itself sponsoring me at that time? well jokes aside do you know about web1, web2 and web3? i am active in "internet" based industry since 2014 and there was also unlimited internet at that time although slow in speed as the bandwidth was truly costly at that time, i had a unlimited 1mbps plan in 2014 fot 600 and an additional mobile data plan which usually costed me around 200 for backup. Now bandwidth has become really cheaper and ISPs can and will provide unlimited data cause they can sustain it, internet addiction was real in 2010 and it is true even now, no matter if you are getting unlimited data or not. You yourself can do something about your addiction no one else can do it for you. My current data usage is typical around 3-4TB monthly on my broadband connection and around 30-40GB on my jio unlimited 5g well i ain't a fan of 5g due to ridiculous heating and slow speed.
