How is your experience on Jiomart missing product refund ?

The first time this happened, I opened my JioMart package and noticed that one product was missing.

when i complaint online through jiomart website, they replied "refund done asap" and closed my complaint without refund.

Full story -

I ordered a lot of products, including harpic and soyabean oil.

the delivery guy told my harpic is not available and you will get refund but i am not receive any refund sms/notification.

So, i register my complaint about harpic and then when i open my jiomart package i noticed soyabean oil is missing.

So, i raised another complaint about soyabean oil.

Next day i receive refund sms for my harpic "Refund process initiated, Will be credited in source account within 7 working days" and they closed my first complaint.

after 2 days, my 2nd complaint about soyabean oil, they replied "refund done asap" and closed my complaint without refund. 😐😐

Happened many times in my case. Refund was credited within some days barring once when I had to contact them several times over 21 days.

Jio platforms are poor when  it comes to refunds. It's been almost 3 weeks with no sign of the refund of a failed topup of Jio Fiber. Worse is getting the Jio CS representatives to understand what's the issue.

In my case occasionally some of the items weren't delivered because they had apparently gone OOS. The delivery guy mentions this at the time of delivery and that the refund has been initiated but strangely enough the bill isn't edited to reflect this discrepancy. Calling the store in-charge is the quickest way to expedite the refunds whenever it's delayed.

Yes they do everything asap.

Asap means whenever they get time to read you complaint.

Happened many times in my case. Refund was credited within some days barring once when I had to contact them several times over 21 days.

Jio platforms are poor when  it comes to refunds. It's been almost 3 weeks with no sign of the refund of a failed topup of Jio Fiber. Worse is getting the Jio CS representatives to understand what's the issue.

Email at cshead @ jiomart . com Try to draft short and simple email point to point, bcz they will do the needful only if they can able to understand the case or else they simply copy paste generic replies or copy paste of the first complaint resolution message again & again.

Happened with me recently with JioMart. I had to raise complaint from their website and they closed it saying please upload photos (entire duration 4 days). Raised another complaint with photos this time (photo - showing one item where expected were two units). They issued refund for the whole order in next 3 -4 days.

Kinda same experience on app/website, refund process is slow but if you raise the issue through mail with proper explanation and photos, they will issue refund.

Yes, this has happened with me quite frequently in the past... 

First time in 2020 and it took umpteen follow-ups on the matter and as long as 82 days for the refund to be processed, because it was a case of NON-DELIVERY and yet the order was marked as DELIVERED.

After that this trend of missing items has been JioMart's highlight and USP. 

From my experience, the refund is not refunded back to SOURCE but I accidentally found it refunded back to their own WALLET which could be utilized in subsequent purchases.

Hope sharing this saves someone time and most essentially peace of mind!

You have to complaint multiple times bro.

Jiomart is a cheat. Have to be very careful before ordering.

They sell buy1 get 1 product as single product 50%off. When I received pdt the b1g1 offer was already given by company not Jiomart. But they advertised like they are giving discount.

Also check every item mrp.

They mention mrp wrong in site[intentionally high, never low].

Never wanted to use them also, but parents got lured in .. by my aunt in Covid-19 era and they were the ones to use Jiomart first.

I casually found this URL error in 2020-2021 https://www.jiomart.com/p/groceries/ayush-natural-fairness-saffron-soap-100-g/491465267 Wherein the URL said soap and the listing had q-tips (cotton swabs).
So my first order, despite free delivery was household items of over 600₹ rupees.

Since I mostly only order on PoD/CoD, if system allows, I hardly have had refund issues.

And whenever the invoice was correctly issued by the local store, the refund for prepaid orders too was usually done in a reasonable timeframe.

For items where the system showed despatched (and thus invoiced), but in reality there was a shortfall (item missing) complaint

I have had mixed experiences.




Even the businesses in Kamathipura, Sonagachi would have better SOPs and more robust systems.. than Reliance Retail!

After informing about the item missing, in around four-five days, ₹×× were added to the R-Jiomart wallet, as order was paid for in cash.

Thirty फking seven paise just vanished into thin air? Is what I asked and persisted for them to answer.
The alleged L3 (level 3) agents handling voice escalations, e-mail escalations [email protected] often seem less intellectual than even our building complex watchmen and tbusly, randomly forward e-mails under whatever category they deem fot.

4-5 months pass after 6-7 different tickets.

Thirty seven paise never came.

So sometime after about six months, someone from our side starts pestering them again.

To their amusement/horror, the escalation level agents respond with statements like 'sir no query was raised at that time, now order is time barred', 'sir i cannot find any such ticket', 'sir you already got refund of ₹××"
Then someone again bounced it to the commercial team, that ₹××.37 was the billed amount but somehow a manual wallet credit of only ₹×× has happened.
_br> Two days later, someone added ₹100.00 in the wallet🤦🏻‍♂.
Had to start a new circus to raise dispute about that.
Instrad of 37 paise, how come 100 rupees added.




Otherwise, for item missing or item damaged, if the ticket os properly raised or properly attended to, by the backend team/s then refunds are timely.

But unfortunately, there is ZERO intra department system-integration or any SAP, Oracle type comprehensive RDBMS or reporting mechanism.

The sole 'job description' of the customer care is to forward the issue to team lead or to the local store and forget about it.

But in reality, local store gets to close the ticket/ complaint.

So if the CSD raised a 'replacement' complaint, but the local store says they do not want to replace..
then they 'resolve' the issue (close the complaint) without the commercial team being intimated to refund or without the logistics team being intimated to reverse pick-up.

Reliance Retail wants us to repose faith in 'caveat emptor'.

Random teams get to close replacement requests, reverse pick-up requests, refund initiation requests and so on.. but none of them are required to communicate their decision to the other internal teams.. or to the customer.

Fingers crossed, till now its nearly 10 out 10 customer service from my experience for Refund of spoiled items and missing items. So I trust Jiomart.

Bro i also face missing item issue packing guys forget to add two items in order and sent order. delivery guy told at the time of delivery missing items will delivered by tomorrow but he didn't came with missing items. so i have complaint via email (add [email protected]) and their site. refund takes time but got
