if the purpose was to portray John as larger than life, then at-least I felt that it could not achieve that class.
Even uncle looking actors like Vin Diesel could do better justice to the character in the original (Bloodshot).
I know that these are lower budget films, but this was neither Total Recall nor Gadar.
But who am I to cry if people watch it and they turn it into a franchise.

Storyline seems typical old formulae repackaged.
Some scenes the lightting and cinematography is aesthetically above par.
Direction wise i have mixed feelings.
But if legally getting to stream, watch free at once one pace.. then worth one time view at-least (as per me).
