Hi guys,

I was going through trendlin sale and seems like louis philippe clothing is sold for very good discounts. I have never used this brand before although i have spotted them in malls. Has anyone tried this brand before? Hows the clothing especially the sizing of Tshirts compared to brands like Levis, van heusen etc.

Equivalent to Van Heusen if not better.
Both belong to Aditya Birla in India.

Heard that its a good brand and the same is manufactured by Birla. Though Birlas are horrible in many many things when it comes about quality. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

I saw a few colleagues of mine wearing the shirts and trousers of it and they are quite satisfied with the quality. However I never tried by myself. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Peter england clothing unfortunately leaves lot to be desired. I have tried it a few times and it has been disappointing . Size is way off mark..XL size fits me perfectly from brands like Us Polo, Lee and van heusen however peter england is off mark and is too tight. even the clothes don’t have a premium feeling.

Thanks for the opinions guys. Will pick up a few LP tees from trendlin. Would have been nice if anyone could have commented or sizing and fitting.

I also tried Peter England twice and still have new trouser bought from Jabong. I am not at all happy with the brand.
If you want to buy formals then Genesis from Basicslife is also good option. I am completely happy with Genesis.

I very rarely wear formals. Fortunately my place of work is cool with casual clothing so i’m in casuals pretty much all the time.

Louis philippe good brand premium formals but it’s Indian. While Van Heusen is American. Both are good and equivalent manufactured in India by Aditya Birla group. But my personal favorite is Allen Solly…. I hope this helps in deciding. And yes collection is good on trendin.com so go for it.

Louis Philippe is a good, premium Indian brand. It was/is the largest apparel brand in India in terms of sales. I own a few shirts and pants from this brand and am quite happy with their finish and durability.

Their quality is definitely a notch above Van Heusen. Hope this helps. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
