I have come across a lot of mixed reviews on Google pixel. Can i get a genuine review if it's bad or good for long term use.

agree with that.. Pixel devices are known to be good or were known for 2 reasons;
1) For their camera performance which is mainly sustaining due to google's algorithm on the post-processing part but don't think for how long, this was their main marketing point and reason to be priced like S Ultras and Iphone Maxs else no justification for their high prices especially with their Tensor chips from Pixel 6 series
2) Android and Security updates, for the first time a google device has launched without the latest Android version i.e. Pixel is still on A14 as normally the pixel devices used to be the first devices to come out with the latest Android version but yeah normally Pixels get launched in Oct and A15 or earlier versions get launched in Oct timeframe and have promised 7yrs of updates but not sure if the hardware can sustain even 4-5yrs of upgrade as they can easily say the SoC/internals don't support the new feature 😀

Pros : Fastest updates, extended OS and security updates, great camera.
Cons : More snooping, poor battery backup, average performance, pathetic charging speed.

On the snooping part, I doubt a little.
And even if it does, it's atleast going to just one secure company instead or trashy ones like Mi or similar or Samsung which is one of the biggest data hogger

I think the whole updates till 2030 is a gimmick. How many people keep their phones for 6-7 years these days. Probably a very tiny miniscule section of population. The phone battery or memory would probably start presenting problems before that

You can definitely go for pixel phones if you are not a heavy gamer.
Suggestion: Try to get Pixel 9 series from Dubai as price difference will be considerable. I'd suggest to prefer pixel 9 over pixel 8 as issues related to heating, battery life and network reception are majorly solved by google in the latest pixel 9 phones.
Ps. I'm personally using Pixel 8.
