How ebay and ebay buyer scammed me HELP!!!

This is the buyer profile link. he even scammed another seller before me. check his profile rating

and ebay encourages him for this. ebay sho9uld provide negative review option for buyer too

i just want to hang myself for letting this scammer to do whatever he want

sad to see , that dimers who used to looot other sites , are getting looted and ripped off.. !!

The only question killing me is!! HOW CAN I PROVIDE A LETTER THAT IS NOT PROVIDED BY DTDC COURIER OFFICE? Its like ebay is stabbing me with a knife saying that we are just poking you with a ear-bud

I don’t think any courier company will provide you a letter confirming the contents of a package that was delivered in the past. It’s stupid and illogical of eBay to even ask for that.

I also don’t understand the logic behind boxing and unboxing videos as proof for what was sent/delivered unless you also record the handover to/from the courier company in a continuous stream.

Same happened with me bro, one buyer Kishore LAL from Raipur and other vimal singh from Patna..BTW I got one return shipment empty and other with son papdi..

Same thing with me Dtdc and bluedart doesn’t give stamped written..however delivery guy gave me in writing..I have sent that only…

They don’t rely on videos but on fake images by buyer

Yes bro,I have removed all my listings.. I am not gonna sell anything onwards on ebay … My claims are still open however I don’t feel that they will be honoured,I have wasted my half day for arranging the docs…but no success

Yes bro,I have removed all my listings.. I am not gonna sell anything onwards on ebay … My claims are still open however I don’t feel that they will be honoured,I have wasted my half day for arranging the docs…but no success

i feel sorry for you. may be you can publish the buyer details here and if its a dimer here, he will at least feel ashamed. admin may not allow personal details so i dont know if it works. wish there was a list of problematic buyers on ebay which ebay maintains and actively terminates those accounts. had they been efficient in the first place, they would have helped you. could do nothing here than sympathize with you.

I mean you cleary said that ebay demands “from sellers” a written proof from Courier AND bluedart and DTDC dont provide such things , might invite someone , who would try tak take advantage of it..

And I saw in the video “PayTm tape” on the inner box, can you tell me wether the tape was used fisrt hand or it was like tape on tape , as if its fisrt hand tape , then he may also be a seller..

I don’t agree with those who say that the OP shouldn’t post his experience openly, I haven’t heard anything more stupid today. I don’t understand that logic. It prevails in our society widely. Keep mum if you are oppressed.

I suggest OP to keep calm first and write a proper mail stating your story and every exploit step by step. Write an article too. Then post it on every possible media you can find. Find the top ebay officials’ emails and mail each and every of them a copy. Send the mail to popular TV shows which address consumer complaints. Make sure these unfriendly policies be known to all and it should make a dent in ebay’s reputation.

You can also take the matter with forums like Akosha, they might ask you for money too. Also, you have the address and phone number of the buyer, contact a local lawyer and send him a legal notice. It would even highlight ebay even more and then they would be eager to sort the matter properly.

The best resolution now is to :

Contact ebay on phone and be relentless. Keep telling them about the difficulties in arranging what they have asked for. Also, tell them that you have sold this product in the past and none of your previous buyers had raised a similar claim. Then they might listen. Try to reach Atul from ebay guarantee claim team.

Also, the dtdc are the worst couriers and they may not help but you can do these two things:
1) When you will visit the dtdc branch : Ask them for the exact weight mentioned in their tracking system. It is a internal tracking site which is visible only to dtdc branch people. If the weight is less than actual HDD weight, then you will win the case easily. See the weight for yourself in their computer. Get a print of that page if mentioned weight is less. This solution may not work because they often mention weight which is more than the actual weight to get more money.
2) Try bribe with dtdc. They are worst courier service in India. Try throwing a 100 Rs note to the beggars/dogs

Once I went to the local dtdc office to send a courier, the guy asked me Rs.250. I said I had sent the same package last month for Rs.150 from other DTDC office and would go to them instead. He revised the charges to Rs.150! This surprised me. My bluff worked, they don’t have a standard charge.

Atleast threaten them to send your article to TV programs. And, for teaching that buyer a lesson you should send a legal notice to that a-hole. Atleast he won’t sleep for a couple of days.

I have already mentioned the 1st thing to ebay. they said that the weight does not matter as the buyer may have packed the item with more care!! They said!!

I have stopped selling on ebay. There is absolutely no protection for sellers, even though they proudly promote their ‘seller protection’ clause:

Just like you, I had sold off my laptop’s 500gb 2.5" sata hdd after upgrading to a 2tb hdd. The buyer from jaipur claimed that he received a pata hdd (c’mon, 500gb pata? do they even exist?)

And ebay refused to side with me and insisted that I produce photo evidence of the item that was shipped. Even the Blue Dart AWB which mentioned the contents as a Seagate 500GB 2.5" SATA HDD was not good enough. Finally, I told ebay to have the buyer send it back, and kept refusing the delivery citing various reasons: package tampering, package feels too light, etc. until the buyer finally realized that he was loosing more money on the return shipping every time and backed out.

If the weight of hard disk without any packaging is 600 grams and weight on their system is 200 grams, then this should be enough proof.
eBay will listen to this on phone. Contact ebay early in the morning by 10.30-11 am
