How do you reward your uber driver/Swiggy delivery executive nd More
So We live in a society where most of the things are delivered by someone to our doorstep, I am so lazy now a days that even groceries/milk i am purchasing online and get delivered.
My wife keeps telling me add some tip to the delivery person if he is coming from far away, its hot outside. so i wanted to know How is everyone rewarding your Delivery patner .
As i worked in a IT company and they provide free drinks i fetch some appyfiz, tropicana, redbull in my bag and keep it in fridge and used to give upon delivery .
what do you guys give ?
Is it good statergy to purchase say appy fizz pack of 40 or frooty tetra pack and give one of it to delivery executive instead of adding tip in swiggy ?

Instead of asking him to come to third floor I go to downstairs and collect it.
Another way anyone can help them is to receive the orders as quickly as possible. I often see delivery guys waiting for 10-15 minutes for the customer to come and receive the order. If order is on COD, keep the exact amount ready immediately after placing the order.
I bought Chana Masala from a street vendor for one delivery guy once, but usually it's 20 if near, 30 if far. Never without a tip.

PS :- I too offer some tip amount , if it's late night delivery then i tend to offer a bit more but tips usually range from Rs.10-50/-.
Sharing an incident : Recently redeemed ITC Points for a dinner and was thinking to tip the guard out there , a family with a fancy 50lakh+ vehicle was leaving and the guy tipped him Rs.200/- for closing the door and i felt like lets keep the dinner at Rs.0 by not tipping and was one of the day i had a dinner outing with nothing spent😘
If delivery boy has done something else by going out of the way which indirectly helped me or something done by me which caused him some trouble or in case of uber if the person is in good in behavior or late night delivery or late night cab then I pay tip from 20- 100, other than that I offer water especially during water , walk down the road to collect to save his time as well and say thank you. It's my way ,other people may differ
