Hi everyone,
My journey date is 11 Sept 2022, and in booking status it's showing RAC5 and current status = confirmed.
(chart not prepared)
So, is this confirmed but seat not alloted or still its RAC5 ?
I am getting confuse here. Kindly clear my doubt.

Yes, you are 5th in the queue to get the confirmed berth. If 5 people who have cancelled the confirmed berths, then you would get a chance to confirm berth. If not, you need to stay with person sitting in the seat for the entire journey. But TTE can arrange a seat most probably, as he knows who cancelled at last minute or has turned up the journey or can arrange a seat from certain station. I think you have time, someone would cancel their ticket by the time of the journey.

You are talking about his booking status.
Current ticket status is CNF as per image posted by OP. So it's already upgraded to full berth and details of coach and berth will be updated later on.

Coach and seat details will be available on chart preparation, which is usually 4 hours before departure and if it's a early morning trains then the chart will be prepared by 8-9pm.

Ur seats are confirmed, u will get to know about seat numbers when chart is prepared (usually 4 hours before departure).
Since,it was rac earlier, so don't expect ur seats in a row, it may be in different lines in a coach and in different coaches as well.

Booking through Airtel Thanks App give Rs. 100* back. Full details not available directly. You can try & check. Also update here too if you book through it.

It is confirmed and you will get to know the seat and coach details few hours before the departure
