I am planning to get one of the Glenn Senza(1+7yr) or Faber Venice(2+8yr) price , Faber is 500Rs more expensive .Same specs , Service centre is in nearly same place for both of them and no accessories provided in box .

Has anyone dealt with either of their aftersales ?

I have dealt with Glenn. I live in a tier 3 city so the experience may be diffrent for you.

But i was not satisfied with the service.

My chimney died due to high voltage and they took a week to arrange for someone to come, then he said they don't have parts for the specific model anymore (2 year old chimney). They put parts from a similar product they sell now. But the performace degraded after it. Board was itself 4k roughly. And touch panel needed to be replaced due to diffrent board.

Had given up with Glenn as they could not make it perform as before.

I have since contacted a local service provide for maintenance and would not buy Glenn again.

Since such things are location specific too, it would help to know at-least the region, if not the city or town.

In many of the Tier2 cities and in most of the tier3 towns, Glen relies on third parties to act as 'authorised' service centres.

Locqlly there always isn't that much monitoring of who is being hired by which third party agency who rums the swevice centers.

In larger places or at-least in the western region of India.. Faber has a responsive after sales support infra and teams

I already answered what I knew, and this is not per se a recommendation of https://blowhotindia.com/collections/kitchen-chimney but often in smaller places, I see this BlowHot thing being preferred by those with rising aspirations but coming from humble backgrounds.

They then say that they actually find the brand/ its products 'value for money' and are satisfied with even outside of the initial warranty period.

It is like how, at one point in time, Jaguar earned the nickname of being the 'poor person's supercar'.

I get similar vibes from this BlowHot thing. Not the best, but not too bad either.

Which one did you buy? How much cost? Are you satisfied? Which one will you recommend filterless/baffle filter and size?

Glen Senza, (Filterless,60cm ) cost 8k.

It's not set yet ,and I can't recommend a brand as all of this is new to me, just got a ,'we are buying this from home ' and wanted to confirm if it's right .

Size : Had a small kitchen  ,2-3 burner,so went for 60cm.

I read BaffleFilter/BLDC motor have better absorption/power efficiency ,and more cost

No matter what the chimney will start malfunctioning after the warranty period ends and you'll hv to shell out money to get it fixed or annual AMC. Usually it's recommended to get it cleaned atleast once in 6 months to 1 yr
