Any medicine, any supplement, any detox water, any green tea herbal tea, max it can do altogether is increase your metabolism by max 5% untill you are taking them. 5% is definitely going to make some difference on a long term, like helping you loose extra 1 kg in 3 months. Same can be achieved by walking extra 1800 steps, it will be free. To increase your metabolism for long term, you must add strength training to your routine.

They used to call themselves 'ayurvedic concepts' (although the parent still was HDC/ Himalaya Drug Company)
But soon it was rebranded Himalaya Herbals'.

Maybe the founder (in 1930) Mohammad Manal really wanted to promote ayurved, but Philipe Haydon, the Chief Executive Officer since few years.. envisages it to have a 'wellness' portfolio.

although they do claim to be investing in R&D,
the efficacy of some of their other/similar products have been really lacking, in our view.

not this same product of theirs, but others of the nature were used by really close acquaintances and family like friends.
results matter on one's own metabolic activity.
these unproven products can only aide some of the metabolic activity in some of the individuals... if at all they work as claimed.

but India does not have stringent parameters and we do not even regularly hold companies accountable.
Not ro mention the unregulated amounts of heavy metal poisoning, lead or other dangerous contaminatants in the ingredients of popular (so called) herbal or ayurvedic products.. is ALARMING to say the least.
The person i am talking of, was underweight and wanted to put on weight and muscle.
She tried their products under guidance of a nutritionist and clinical dietician.
Did not have positive results.
Someone else suffered typhoid or some other illness related hairfall and they too later tried Himalaya products.. but unsure if it helped.

If someone in middle age or seniors going to consume all this slimming things, then better to save their psychological health.
If these things do not live up to their expectations, then they might sink towards avoidable depression.

If someone otherwise fot and free of illnesses and under 30 wants 5o experiment with these.. can do so.. but all these HerbaLife, Amway, Himalaya are ______.

Bro, combine weight training with running or swimming &  reduce calorie intake. Forget such tablets.

Had such herbal formulations actually worked India wouldn't have experienced an obesity epidemic and wouldn't have earned the dubious distinction of being the diabetes capital of the world. Himalaya is such a capable organization that it markets Liv.52 for both prevention of liver diseases in humans AND for use in pets! If you are lucky enough only thing that will get slimmed will be your wallet.

Only thing that works is a calorie deficit. There's no magical remedy available. Invest in a kitchen weighing scale (ActiveX - personal exp., very accurate, BeatXP - accurate as per others) and measure the raw ingredients. Log it in an app like Cronometer or Myfitnesspal. Estimate your BMR and TDEE depending on your activity level and work out how calorie deficit is tolerable. 200-250 is a good initial value either alone from food or in combination with exercise and/or cardio. Junk food of course will have to be eliminated.

When it comes to fat loss - only diet, exercise and lifestyle changes will work. These tablets, tea, vibrating belts etc that claim to destroy fat cells and tone belly is a fraud. Spot reduction is impossible.
