Its a 'political' issue if not then opposition should thoroughly follow-up via law/court and get to bottom of it. Taking political advantage and not addressing the issue through legal channels means 'they' too are in pockets of these big value industrialists.

1. Those who are blaming that Hindenburg are short sellers and that's why they are doing it. You need to consider the fact that they are not claiming that they are saint. They clearly mentioned that -┬а
"Hindenburg Research specializes in forensic financial research. we use fundamental analysis to aid our investment decision-making". In particular we often look for situations where companies may have any combination of:
- Accounting irregularities
- Bad actors in management or key service provider roles
- Undisclosed related-party transactions
- Illegal/unethical business or financial reporting practices
- Undisclosed regulatory, product, or financial issues
So, those are the culprits who was supposed to save stakeholders (You know who) and┬аretail investors (You know who) and doing something else which is not legal (I won't say unethical bcz they need to think on that).
2. If you are losing money that doesn't mean some action by a whistleblower or research firm is incorrect. Tomorrow, I will also loose hefty money as I am long in F&O trades and I have also invested a huge amount (If market crashes). But, I'd prefer to see such reports in the future.
