HELP: Received UPI linking messages

Hi all,

I have received upi linking messages from almost my all banks including rupay credit card in midnight. No verification sms gone from my mobile. Don’t hav any untrusted app. Using iphone, so haven’t installed anything from outside. No deductions so far from accounts.
messages doesn’t contain name of any app. It simply says -linking initiated by your upi app-

Does anyone knows how to block upi transactions in a bank account and rupay credit card? or any other precautions i can take?

This might have happened due to Paytm upgrade of UPI IDs if you are using Paytm app.

No, all banks geniune msgs, with same msg id i previously receiving msgs. Also some bank sends last 4digit of account number.. which is also matching.

This might have happened due to Paytm upgrade of UPI IDs if you are using Paytm app.

Ohh yes, just checked they hav changed my upi id as well.. but they should hav informed me earlier… no mag or mail from paytm regarding this..

Hopefully they are the one.. for now i just entered wrong upi pins.. to block my upis.. but some bank even doesn’t block after entering multiple incorrect attempt..
