Paytm is opening saving accounts of persons who did kyc for paytm wallet.
I did not apply for bank account, neither for debit card.
Now what to do?
I don’t want saving account with paytm or its debit card.
Paytms customer care sucks . Dont know when they will answer.

Dear , Digital RuPay Debit Card has been issued to you for your savings account This card can be used across all online platforms for transactions.
raise a complaint immediately and ask them to close it if you don’t want. Tell paytm clearly that you will complaint in UIDAI..
Agents are being paid to open bank accounts when they are doing KYC.
Shukr manaaiye Airtel Payment bank ka nahin khola saath mein.
Matlab kya jhol hai bhai
Jara khul kar batao
I raised a complaint on in support section but dont know when they will reply.
You must have requested earlier..
Also my one relative account holder is out of town .he to reced. Same msg. But he does not know how to complain on app then how to help him
Is there anyway to call paytm customer care not there ivr
file an FIR against the KYC agent and the owner of Paytm
lodge a complaint with the FIR copy to UIDAI and RBI
lodge a complaint against UIDAI on PGPortal for gfailure to ensure proper guidelines on Aadhaar authentication
then tweet the copies to Vijay Sekhar Sharma
hit them hard, with legal means
even if 100 people lodge complaint with PGPortal, this menace will stop.
wow poster buoy is opening bank accounts without consent welcome to digital india
This is what happens when people pass orders without doing homework. Common men bear the consequence.
Same happened after demonstration.
Same after gst
And aadhaar related problems won’t go until you die
I wonder what were people thinking when they voted for Modi
There is an option in PPB , to close the account.
for me they told without updating PAN, u cant open paytm bank even if u r full kyc
I have completed my Paytm KYC online with AADHAR and Pan 2 weeks back. They have not opened the savings account for me,
I’m curious if the guys who are reporting that Paytm is opening their account without consent, have you guys done KYC online or through doorstep method?
Doorstep KYC (aka full KYC) is responsible for this mess where agents (just like Airtel Agents) are opening PB Accounts (similar to Airtel the PB account opening Paytm PPI & PB KYC process is integrated inside a single Golden Gateway App(by Paytm) so users are kept in confusion & agents easily cheat them to open PB account,
And the KYC which you have done is valid for only 1 year and have certain transaction limits.
What is the problem if they opened savings account?
I think there is no fees for that?
Any other drawbacks are there?
Unwanted yearly charges (for now nothing mentioned but their current change in charge schedule for card & PIN+mini statement etc suggests that it is sure to be introduced)
Secondly if account is opened using Aadhaar biometric your subsidy through AEPS is sure to end there
bro once account is opened it cannot be closed ,, read paytm T&Cs , account are opened with customer consent .
If u still say them i have not opened the account from my side , they will not help you …
Rest you can try ….
what about online KYC ie without the agents coming home or we going to store
Online KYC via Aadhaar (OTP) and PAN which is valid for 1 year is good but has a lower transaction limit.
Online KYC via other OVD is almost useless as Bank Transfer, Send to Other is disabled
Saw some complaints on Twitter that store people are charging for KYC and even they are opening PBACCOUNT
If you think nobody raised this and their management is not involved in this
